Leslie Lieman is the Educational Technology Coordinator for the Lehman College School of Education, City University of New York. Her professional development workshops for faculty and educational technology initiatives for students and public school mentor teachers strive to improve use and integration of technology in teaching, learning and assessment. She has led workshop series on SmartBoards, ePortfolios, iPads, video, wikis, blogs, and more. She organized an educational technology strategic planning committee engaging faculty at her college. In a fast-changing field, learning new tools and refining best practices is a constant process. Leslie aims to have faculty keep pace with K-12 teachers and vice-versa. She encourages participants not only to adopt new strategies based on new skills, but also to embrace transforming the way we teach and learn.
