my work ethic: Where the Rubber hits the road
I work hard, driving forward at a speed I can peddle.
I see the road – bumps, cracks, obstacles – and I am not afraid.
I follow maps and ask questions, not wanting to recreate the wheel.
I create directions so others can ride independently.
I dedicate myself to our urban area, wanting everyone to be in the race.
I support others in doing their best, singing encouragement along the way
and guiding them to ride in front.
I cheer for others achievements.
I read, read, read – trying to understand the gears.
I try to fix flat tires on my own.
I get down and dirty and I'm not high maintenance (or am I?)
I talk to others when I need to come up for air.
I steer in directions that have paths I can travel.
I strive to carve a way if there isn't one.
I conquer mountains slowly and never travel too fast.
I see beauty all around.
I love the journey.
